When I was 2 or 3, my Mom took me to see a circus. We were in the very front row, and of course the circus started with a parade of all the performers and animals. When the Oliphaunt went by, it stuck its trunk out and reached for us. Mom leaped over two rows of seats to escape it, and left me to my fate. The Oliphaunt and its rider thought this very funny and moved on.
